Delhi University to introduce PG diploma course in Cyber Security

In order to expand learning in cyber security, law and research, the Delhi University will soon roll out a year-long post-graduate diploma in cyber security.  It has received approvals from statutory bodies to begin the course.

In a statement, the Delhi University has stated: “The University of Delhi with approval of statutory bodies is shortly launching one year post-graduate diploma in Cyber Security and Law. This programme caters to the niche domain of cyber security with a unique combination of cyber laws.”

With this initiative, the university aims to create professionals in the domain of cyber security and to cater the needs of industry for employment.

The course comprising two semesters will commence from March 2018 reportedly.

Cybersecurity plays a vital role in protecting networks, programmes and data from cyber attacks and unauthorized access. These days security risks have been constantly evolving across different verticals such as banking, telecom, government, etc.  which collect  and store significant portion of data that can be sensitive information.

And, to deal with such issues positive approach is needed for which cyber security experts are dedicated and ensure to safeguard those systems.
